Mr. Hoyt graduated from California State Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate. After graduating from college with honors, he went to work for a real estate investment firm named Jenkins-Mckinney and Associates. This firm specialized in investment properties which included apartment buildings, shopping centers and development properties. Mr. Hoyt quickly became one of the top producing agents in the company and achieved countless high achievement awards. Mr. Hoyt then joined RE/MAX Palos Verdes where he continued to sell numerous investment properties and began to purchase them as well. Mr. Hoyt is now specializing and the sale of apartment buildings and commercial properties and finds real estate investment lucrative, challenging and rewarding. With over fifteen years of experience and having established contacts and relationships with some of the largest and most influential property owners in the south bay, Mr. Hoyt offers his clients experience and integrity that most people find extremely valuable.
Mr. Hoyt is married to his lovely wife Alexa, who is also one of the top producing residential agents at RE/MAX Palos Verdes. Alexa has also achieved some of the highest awards including the Platinum Award for production and closed commissions within the company. Kurt and Alexa have two beautiful five year old twin daughters, Kelly and Kendall both of which make their lives joyful, happy and appreciative. Mr. Hoyt is also a very accomplished pilot. At a very young age he became a flight instructor at the Torrance airport and accomplished an Air Transport Pilot rating as well as numerous instructor ratings. Mr. Hoyt has flown planes ranging from small propeller driven airplanes to large cargo jets.
